The PD-RS system is designed for the inspection and analysis of the response behavior in the optoelectronic conversion process of photodetectors or photovoltaic devices.
By using a monochromatic (single-wavelength) light source, the system applies continuous pulses or periodic modulation of light intensity to illuminate the optoelectronic device, generating photo-generated current or voltage signals. These signals are then detected and analyzed in the frequency or time domain, yielding important parameters of the optoelectronic conversion process.
The system includes frequency response, rise/fall time, linear dynamic range (LDR), transient photovoltage (TPV), transient photocurrent (TPC), and other evaluation parameters related to the optoelectronic conversion capability.
